We are pleased to announce a new order from Japan. In the course of expanding its production capacities for LiB foil, UACJ Foil Corporation, a consolidated subsidiary of UACJ Corporation, has opted for a new Achenbach OPTIMILL® Foil Rolling Mill. With this purchase, the customer is responding to the rapidly growing demand for battery foil responding promptly to customer needs and reducing environmental impact through the supply of aluminium products.
The new state-of-the-art rolling mill, which will exclusively produce battery foil, will be equipped with the latest technology meeting the high demands of the highly sensitive foil such as an Achenbach DVC Back-up Roll, an Achenbach UniDry® Strip Blow-Off System as well as an Achenbach UniHeat Advanced Hot Edge System. Delivery is scheduled for December 2025.

Besides the newly ordered one, the customer already has an Achenbach Foil Rolling Mill from 1993 in operation.
