We are pleased to announce the successful acceptance of a new Achenbach ROILPURE® rectification system at our customer Novelis in Plettenberg-Ohle. Following installation and commissioning at the beginning of the year, the system was recently handed over successfully after a smooth trial operation. It replaces a rectification system from 1987, which had been in reliable operation for almost 40 years.
♻️ The Achenbach ROILPURE® system is used for the reprocessing of used rolling oil, enabling its return to the production cycle in near-virgin quality. Through vacuum distillation, foreign oils such as hydraulic oil, lubricating oil, and grease are reliably separated.

📊 The system is designed for a throughput of 200 l/h, corresponding to approximately 140,000 litres per month in continuous operation. At the site, it is operated in a demand-oriented periodic mode.
🏭 The Novelis plant in Plettenberg-Ohle produces, among other things, semi-finished materials for coffee capsules, cable tapes, flexible tubes and hoses for the automotive industry, packaging solutions for the food industry, as well as aluminium coil cores for the aluminium and steel industries. With the new ROILPURE® system, the customer takes an important step towards greater efficiency, sustainability, and future-ready production.
