Knowledge as the key to successfull modernizations

As part of the planned modernization of an Achenbach SUPERSTACK® I Filtration System at our long-standing customer Novelis Deutschland GmbH in Nachterstedt, we recently conducted an off-site training session. The goal was to provide participants from operations and maintenance with a comprehensive technical understanding of the system – deliberately away from day-to-day business to allow full focus on professional exchange. 💡
The training focused on the mechanical systems, the media system, and control engineering relationships as a basis for the upcoming modernization process. We also gave an insight into the modernized HMI interface (plant visualization). Further user training will take place at the customer's site on the retrofitted system.
Despite their experience with our filtration technology, participants gained valuable new insights – not least thanks to the diverse perspectives of our experts. The combination of theory and practice proved particularly beneficial: using real components from our workshop, such as a filter and a mixing tank in the test phase, content was illustrated clearly and technical questions were discussed in a very practical way. 🔍
Our ambition is clear: not only to deliver or modernize systems, but also to further develop the people working with them and thereby create a solid foundation for safe and efficient operations. 🤝
