We were delighted to attend the official inauguration of our customer ALCOMET AD's new battery foil production facilities in Bulgaria – a significant milestone for the company and the European aluminium industry. As one of the few battery foil production facilities in Europe, the new plant relies on advanced Achenbach technology to produce sophisticated high-end aluminium foil products for future-oriented applications such as electric mobility and energy storage.
For Achenbach, this special occasion coincides with another important achievement: the successful rolling of the first coil on a new Achenbach OPTIMILL® Foil Rolling Mill. Equipped with innovative technology components and a high degree of automation, it stands for highest product quality, sustainability and production efficiency.
This state-of-the-art mill is part of a comprehensive Achenbach supply package for Alcomet's new battery foil production facilities, including an Achenbach AIRPURE® System and an Achenbach OPTIFOIL SepaSlit® Separator.
We are proud to contribute to this forward-looking investment and would like to sincerely congratulate Alcomet on the successful inauguration of its new facilities and this important milestone.
