This year, the SIHK zu Hagen presented the South Westphalia Award, which recognizes websites and social media presences, for the 24th time. 130 industrial companies, clubs, associations and private individuals from the three South Westphalian chambers of industry and commerce IHK Arnsberg, Hellweg-Sauerland, SIHK zu Hagen and IHK Siegen applied for the six awards in various categories.
Achenbach was not only one of the nominees, but also received the "Best Design" award for the homepage that evening. The award, which was individually designed by artist F.K. Gloger, was presented by jury member Kennet Völlmecke.
In his speech, he emphasized the clear and innovative design, which stands out from all other pages and clearly highlights the special features and values of the company. The fly-through of the rolling mill on the home page was also highly rated.
