Once again this year, Technology Day was all about “hands-on technology – get involved and be amazed” ⚙️. Countless technology enthusiasts – young and old alike – took the opportunity to experience exciting activities and find out about careers in technology.
We at Achenbach were there once again and bravely ‘weathered’ the high temperatures ☀️🌡️. Despite the summer heat, the town was bustling with visitors, and many interested people came specifically to find out more about our work and the wide range of apprenticeship opportunities at Achenbach.
A little refreshment in the form of ice cream helped cool everyone down, and was gratefully received by visitors to our stand – not only did it help us keep a cool head, but it also made our apprenticeship programmes literally ‘tasty’. Visitors had the chance to try their hand at the maze cutter or shrink a bearing – true to the motto ‘hands-on technology’ 🧊🔩.
