What will the industry of tomorrow look like? Digital, sustainable and people-centred. It was precisely this vision that took centre stage at this year’s @SDFS Impulse Forum at @Campus Buschhütten, which brought together numerous representatives from business, academia and politics.
We are delighted to have been part of this important exchange as a partner. The forum’s key message was clear: sustainability requires innovation. And digitalisation is a crucial catalyst in this regard – particularly for competitiveness, productivity and the successful implementation of new technologies.
With Achenbach OPTILINK®, we are actively shaping this transformation. Our digital platform connects production processes, creates transparency and supports our customers in making their production more efficient, sustainable and future-proof. In this way, we are laying the digital foundations for high-performance and resource-efficient production – in short: Green.Lean.Digital.
Of course, we are also delighted about the official launch of the Green Factory. With the presentation of a funding approval notice for 22.5 million euros by NRW State Secretary for the Environment @Viktor Haase, the Buschhütten Campus is being expanded to include a research and transfer centre for circular production, sustainable building use and industrial resource efficiency. A former Achenbach industrial hall dating from the 1890s is now being transformed into an innovation centre focusing on green manufacturing and green building.
Congratulations to the SDFS team on a successful event, and many thanks for the inspiring discussions. We look forward to continuing to shape the future of industry together.
