135 years ago, in 1888, chief engineer Carl Roth offered the Fritz von Viehbahn company in Karlshütte a complete sheet rolling mill for the first time, comprising two strip rolling mills, a pinion stand and a plate mill. This contract marks the beginning of rolling mill construction at Achenbach.
Today, 135 years later, Achenbach OPTIMILL rolling mills are built with the same dedication and demand on perfection as in 1888.
