We are delighted to announce the successful start-up of both new Achenbach OPTIMILL® 4-High Foil Rolling Mills at Weihai Chenxin New Material Co., Ltd.
The new mills are equipped with innovative technology components and a high level of automation, enabling them to meet the highest quality requirements for aluminium foil while also delivering outstanding sustainability and productivity. Their advanced design ensures low energy consumption, reduced emissions and highly efficient production.
Particularly noteworthy is that both mills are equipped with the new Achenbach UniTorque® Direct Drive Technology, making them the first foil rolling mills in China to feature this innovative drive concept. By integrating the motor directly into the coiler, the UniTorque concept significantly reduces the number of mechanical components, minimizes installation space and eliminates the need for complex foundations. At the same time, it lowers installation and maintenance requirements while increasing overall drive efficiency. The result is reduced energy consumption, lower operating costs and a more sustainable production process.
