Training isn’t just about acquiring theoretical knowledge and learning work processes at your own company. It also means gaining practical experience, taking on responsibility, and getting a realistic glimpse into future professional life.
Assembly assignments offer a unique opportunity to do just that.
Our industrial mechanic apprentices were able to gain exactly this kind of experience during a three-week assignment in northern Italy, where they assisted with the reconstruction of a rolling mill at our client Carcano’s facility.
In the process, they were able to:
🔧 help with various assembly tasks
⚙️ take on smaller tasks independently
🤝 work closely with experienced colleagues
🌍 get to know an international work environment
📚 apply their theoretical knowledge directly in practice
But an assembly assignment doesn’t just impart technical knowledge. The apprentices learn to adapt to new situations, take on responsibility within a team, and act confidently even outside their familiar surroundings.
At the same time, shared experiences are created that will stay with them—new places, different working conditions, and a team that grows closer even off the construction site.
