Guizhou Gui Aluminium New Materials Co., Ltd. in China has placed an order with Achenbach for a new Aluminium foil rolling mill line for a battery foil plant to be built in in Qingzhen City, Guizhou Province. The project incorporates the latest technologies from Achenbach, to meet the high demands of this highly sensitive cathode foil. It comprises two new state-of-the-art Achenbach OPTIMILL® Foil Rolling Mills, automated with Achenbach OPTIROLL® Control Systems and each run with an Achenbach SUPERSTACK® II Rolling Oil Microfiltration System.
Essential key features to optimize the strip flatness are a DVC Backup Roll, an Achenbach UniFlat® Flatness Measuring Roll, and an Achenbach UniSpray® Coolant Distribution System. Furthermore, the highly efficient Achenbach UniDry® Blow-off System will ensure evenly dry strip surfaces, and the Achenbach UniRon Ironing Roller System will guarantee highest rewinding speeds.
