We are very pleased to have successfully rolled the 1st coil on a new Achenbach OPTIMILL® Thin Strip Rolling Mill at our customer Assan Alüminyum, Turkey at the Dilovasi site. This exceptionally strong and most modern rolling mill impresses with its outstanding technology. Particularly noteworthy are some innovative key components for optimum strip quality such as the highly efficient Achenbach UniDry® Rolling Oil Blow-off System and the brand new Achenbach UniHeat Curved Hot Edge System for optimum flatness at the strip edges, which is used for the first time in a rolling mill.
