Carcano Antonio S.p.A., a long-standing customer of Achenbach, has chosen the OPTILINK Energy Management Tool (EMT) to optimize the energy efficiency of its production processes. The OPTILINK EMT is an Achenbach software solution that facilitates the collection and evaluation of energy data in conjunction with production data.
Carcano's decision in favor of the OPTILINK EMT was based on its outstanding functionality and adaptability, as well as its seamless integration into the existing OPTILINK system. The OPTILINK EMT is supplied as an add-on module using the new UniLink Compact Gateway, which combines the customer's existing energy meters.
By implementing the OPTILINK EMT, Carcano will be able to monitor the energy consumption of almost its entire machine park. With twelve measuring points, detailed insights can be gained into energy consumption and CO2 emission values per rolled coil. This enables Carcano to take targeted measures to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
