What does future-oriented training look like?

At Achenbach, we attach great importance to providing our trainees with diverse insights and real-world practical experience. Under the umbrella of the Buschhütten campus, they currently have the opportunity to help shape three innovative learning modules as part of the InnoVET project ‘InnoVETion57’ – and thus actively contribute to solutions for real challenges of digital transformation:

🌐 Digital twin in automation technology – our trainees are developing a virtual replica of a real plant. This allows them to simulate automation processes in a practical manner, identify sources of error and test smart solutions – a direct entry into the world of Industry 4.0.

🌱 Microcontrollers – a smart irrigation system is created: the trainees programme independently, select sensors and actuators, and integrate AI for intelligent control.

🧊 3D printing – From digital design to finished component, e.g. a water tank is designed and manufactured to match the irrigation system.
What makes this special is that our trainees are not just silent listeners, but active participants.
The modules are currently in the development and testing phase. Our trainees work through them as a test group, provide feedback and thus contribute to the further development of the content. In the future, additional modules will follow, for example on the topic of augmented reality.

👉 This is what future-oriented training at Achenbach looks like: diverse, innovative and close to the technologies of tomorrow.
A big thank you to all the project partners involved who are making this valuable experience possible for our trainees.
