ARZYZ, Mexico, has recently placed an order with Achenbach for the modernisation of an Achenbach OPTIMILL® Strip Rolling Mill. This order, officially signed on the customer´s 44th anniversary, not only includes assembly supervision and commissioning at the new site near Monterrey, Mexico. Above all, the rolling mill will be brought up to the latest state of the art with new technology components and performance-enhancing upgrades in order to produce high-quality rolled products by the end of 2025. As part of the relocation, Achenbach has already provided professional support for ARZYZ with the dismantling of the rolling mill at the original location in Germany as well as the careful preparation for shipping. ARZYZ, founded in 1980, is one of the biggest companies in Mexico in the sector of non-ferrous metals, particularly in the manufacture of aluminium alloys and commercialization of primary metals.
