After the first Separator for our customer Gränges America Inc. has been sent on its way this week for overseas packaging, and further equipment for the battery foil production in Finspång, Sweden is already in the process of engineering, we are pleased that the leading supplier of aluminium flat rolled products has decided for us within the scope of a further order.
Achenbach has just been commissioned by Gränges Konin S.A. with the extensive refurbishment of an Achenbach OPTIMILL® 6-high Strip Rolling Mill, which was unfortunately destroyed by a fire. The aim of this project is to fully rebuild the rolling mill in order to regain the original performance, which includes both the extensive delivery, repair of assemblies that were affected by the fire and improve its fire protection system. The remarkably strong rolling mill comprising several innovative technology components is designed to produce highly magnesium alloyed aluminium strip.
We are very happy that Gränges has once again placed its trust in us, and our good partnership continues within the framework of this order. At the same time, it shows once again what Achenbach stands for – being a reliable partner for our customers in a continuous process offering a wide range of services at any point of time.
