We are pleased that our long-standing customerDongwon Systems, South Korea, has granted Achenbach the final acceptance for a new Achenbach OPTIMILL® Foil Rolling Mill.
Designed for the production of highly sensitive and ultra-thin battery foil, the mill combines latest technologies with proven process know-how to meet the demanding requirements of lithium-ion battery applications. It ensures optimal strip flatness, precise thickness control, and high production speeds.
This is already the third Achenbach rolling mill for Dongwon Systems. In addition, a separator has been successfully commissioned as part of this project. With this investment, Dongwon Systems is expanding its capabilities in battery foil production with state-of-the-art technology, aiming to further increase output and efficiency.
