Our colleague @Benjamin Heinbach successfully completed his doctoral thesis on ‘Reinforcement Learning-based Planning of Factory Layouts’ in January. In his impressive presentation, he showed how artificial intelligence methods can not only support classic planning processes, but even replace them in some areas. He then faced critical questions from the doctoral committee – and mastered them with confidence.
