We are thrilled to announce a milestone for Achenbach: Tahweel Metal Industry Corporation (TMIC) has placed an order with Achenbach for a fully integrated, state-of-the-art aluminium foil plant in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, with a planned annual capacity of 106,000 tons for regional and international markets.
The package includes:
- 4 Achenbach OPTIMILL® Foil Rolling Mills accompanied by an Achenbach AIRPURE® Exhaust Air Purification System
- 6 Achenbach OPTIFOIL® Slitting and Processing Machines
The official announcement took place during a ceremony in Riyadh, attended by His Excellency Mr. بندر إبراهيم الخريف Bandar Alkhorayef Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, His Excellency Eng. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer, State Secretary for Mining Affairs as well as Achenbach representatives President & CEO André E. Barten and Director Global Sales Christian Schneider.

Delivery is scheduled for Q1/Q2 2027, with production start in Q3 2027.
