This year, we once again attended the W&I Day at the University of Siegen. Björn Achenbach, coordinator for the dual study programme, our dual students and Luise Schlemper, HR officer and trainer for industrial clerks, took the opportunity at the Paul Bonatz Campus of the University of Siegen to inform visitors about career opportunities at Achenbach and to show how theory and practice can be combined at our company – for example, as part of a dual study programme.
The direct exchange with our dual students, who provided first-hand insights into their everyday student life at Achenbach, was particularly valuable.
It is important for us to give interested parties authentic insights into professional practice and to support them in their career orientation. Such events offer the ideal opportunity to start a dialogue at an early stage and to highlight perspectives.
Those who decide to pursue a dual study programme or training at Achenbach benefit from practical learning – this not only strengthens their technical expertise, but also their understanding of processes and technologies.
