Intelligent Leakage detection with Achenbach OPTILINK®

Leaks in hydraulic or lubrication systems can lead to contamination, quality issues, and unplanned downtime. A recent deployment of our OPTILINK® leakage detection solution at a rolling mill at our customer Lotte Hungary helped detecting a critical leak preventing potential damage and production loss. The customer had a problem with lubrication oil leaking into the rolling oil.

The system now monitors several mills, including high-pressure-, low-pressure- and DVC-hydraulics as well as roll lubrication. Based on real-time data and smart algorithms, it provides early alerts and adapts dynamically to operational changes.

Thanks to the close collaboration with Lotte Hungary, we were able to tailor the solution precisely to the customer’s requirements:
